Sichuan provincial government has announced that the Western China Leather & Shoes Fair and 7th China Chengdu International Shoe Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition will be held at the Chengdu International Exhibition Centre July 8-11, 2005.

Organisers say that the exhibition area covers 13,000 square metres and will be divided into many specialty exhibition pavilions including a leather pavilion, a shoe pavilion, and a leather machinery pavilion. During the four-day exhibition activities such as seminars and conferences on business investments will also be organised for visitors to the event.

The China Leather Industry Association and the Wenzhou leather industry Association have already offered their support for the exhibition as well as a number of foreign leather associations from Italy, France, Germany, and Spain.
