Marc Folachier elected president of IULTCS

Marc Folachier, general manager of CTC, has been elected president of the International Union of the Companies of Chemists and Technicians of Industries of Leather (IULTCS). The election was held during the organisation’s 28th congress, March 9-12 in Florence, Italy. He will be the fourth French person to hold the position, when he officially takes up the position on January 1, 2006.

 

During his time as president, Mr Folachier will oversee at least two major events: the European Congress in Istanbul in May 2006 and the World Congress in Washington in June 2007.


Mr Folachier has served as vice president of IULTCS since May 2003. Mr Elton Hurlow, of Buckman Laboratories, was also elected a vice president.
