Pikolinos, a Spanish footwear manufacturer, has obtained the European Eco-label for their line of shoes Ecological City to be launched for Spring/Summer 2005, making it the first Spanish company and one of only seven companies worldwide to hold this certificate.

Ecological City models are made completely of ecological materials such as chromium free leather and biodegradable soles. They are manufactured using a production process that uses water based adhesives and natural dyes.

Elche-based Pikolinos has presence in over 45 countries on all five continents.
