Shoe Carnival announces promotions and retirement

American footwear and accessories retailer, Shoe Carnival, Inc., has announced two executive promotions and one executive retirement.  Ed Hensel will be retiring from the position of vice president of distribution, after 12 years of service. He will be replaced by Tom Welden who has been promoted from his former position as manager of the company’s distribution centre. Mr Welden has worked in various positions within the distribution centre since 1979. Kathy Yearwood has also been promoted to vice president - controller.
