President and CEO of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), Kevin M. Burke, has announced that the AAFA has entered into an agreement with Source Global On-Demand to promote innovative desktop sourcing services for AAFA members to both sell and source products and services with factories in China and worldwide.

SourceGO is said to combine state-of-the-market Internet tools that facilitate sourcing from thousands of textile, apparel and home furnishing suppliers in China and throughout the world with one-to-one support from sourcing specialists based in SourceGO’s Shanghai office.

Working in cooperation with the China Network Textile Co., Ltd. a division of the China National Textile & Apparel Council (CNTAC), SourceGO also facilitates a service for AAFA supplier members to reach factories in China.

Mr. Burke said, “AAFA’s relationship with Source Global On-Demand provides our members with a solution for US companies and China producers to streamline the traditional sourcing process through new technologies. Now our small-to-medium size apparel companies can source product in China with ease and flexibility. And everyone benefits when our supplier members have affordable visibility to factories across China.”

AAFA members receive special access and subscription considerations for SourceGO services, while AAFA supplier members are now searchable by tens of thousands of factories in China free of charge.
