In association with two Italian designers, Carmen Rimoldi and Sergio Belloni, Switzerland’s TFL has released its new Colour Trends & Fashion inspirations catalogue for leather for the autumn / winter 2006/07 season. The colours for this season are divided up into three categories: Chic, Classic and Casual. Styling directions, as well as general fashion considerations and article trends are also included, together with recipes from beamhouse through to finishing.

Chic shades are characterised by deep and exciting colours. It is a play on contrasts, mixing rhodium with diamonds, nepheline with turmaline, thus giving unusual but what are said to be effective colour tones.

Classic nuances cover brilliant colours, psychedelic and electric, different shades are mixed together, combining pyrite and calamite, garnet with hematite, in order to obtain original nuances made up of contrasts.

Casual shades comprise effervescent, transparent colours, where light chalky tones become indivisible. The range matches lapis with topaz, opal with zircon, thus creating an opalescent atmosphere with inseparable shades.

TFL is also presenting a full range of trendy leathers with its forecast, which have been developed by TFL’s Competence Centre Shoe Leather goods in Italy.

The TFL Colour Trends & Fashion inspirations catalogue for leather is published twice a year. The company believes that publishing this catalogue 21 months in advance of the retail season is extremely advantageous for its customers.
