Spring and summer 2006 to be highlighted by Stahl at APLF

A variety of new products which have been introduced over the past year will be on show as well as some that will be seen for the first time at APLF. Many of these products have been developed with the Asian market in mind and will therefore be of special interest to Asian tanners, although the display will still have a worldwide interest and feel.
There will be four categories in the collection, namely shoe upper and leather goods, upholstery, garment, and split and suede sections. All are fashion-driven and performance-oriented and will show a variety of fashion ideas and new products to reflect market trends.
The new leather finishing products to be shown are:
RC-18-966: A Pre-foam Compact Resin that provides remarkable upgrading capabilities with excellent print retention, mainly designed for shoe upper and upholstery finishes.
RC-17-968: A black cationic Compact Resin, that shows very good solvent resistance and upgrading, achieves an excellent jet black for black finishes. It will be mainly used in cationic sealer coats.
FI-18-988: aqueous wax filler which produces a strong pull up and darkening effect.
RI-22-043: A new impregnation resin to provide good grain tightening and supple handle.
MA-18-779: A special “flock” effect agent that produces spider’s web patterns.
New products in the Colours & Tanning range to be used in the collection are:
Synektan SPP: A new generation of protein polymers, which have strong fullness without loosening softness.
Bemanol DLJS: A weak organic acid deliming agent which gives fast penetration and better chrome dispersion with brighter shades.
Corilene WSB: A very strong waterproof fatliquor, resulting in medium soft, tight crusts. The resulting performance is only minimally influenced by other chemicals
Corilene N60S: A marine animal oil with minimal smell. It provides excellent softness, fullness and milling properties.
Renektan DCT: - A dicyandiamide resin that is formaldehyde-free and gives excellent fullness but is still soft.
