IILF attracts 6,000 visitors
Organisers of the 20th Indian International Leather Fair that came to a close on February 3, 2005 are calling the event a success, with over 96% of exhibitors expressing satisfaction and 98.4% saying that they will participate in the next edition of the show.
The fair attracted 276 exhibitors including 67 from 18 overseas countries, who displayed a wide range of products ranging from raw materials to end products – including finished leather, footwear, leather goods, garments and chemicals.
Over 6,000 visitors attended the event from countries such as Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Sri lanka Turkey, UK and the USA.
Alongside the exhibits, the fair also hosted seminars on topics concerned with the development of the industry such as grading, training, cutting, and production planning.
