Insolia heel technology proves popular in 2004
HBN Shoe, LLC has announces that in 2004 licensees of the Insolia product sold more than 1 million pairs of shoes constructed with the company's weight shift solution, designed to make high heel shoes in any style or heel height feel more like flats by shifting substantial weight from the ball to the heel of the foot.
"We are very excited about the great success of the brands and retailers who have chosen to license Insolia," said Michael Backler, president of HBN Shoe, LLC. "We knew we had created something special and destined for success when we experienced women's immediate reactions to Insolia."
International Australian airline Qantas Airways has also named the Vago brand shoes with Insolia part of its 7,000 flight attendants' specified uniform. The brand is available at Millie's stores throughout Hong Kong, Macau and
Founded in 1998, HBN Shoe, LLC licenses Insolia to shoe manufacturers, brands and retailers worldwide. The company launched its first Amalfi shoe line in spring 2004 and leant its technology to other brands, including DKNY and Bloomingdales. It is also sold in other brands in other countries.
