Jinhou Group sets up leather goods production base
Jinhou group, a major Chinese leather goods manufacturer, has recently set up a new production facility covering 80,000 square metres in
Jinhou group said that in the past production has been restricted due to limited production lines, meaning it struggled to meet demand as more foreign orders have been placed for its products. To ease the bottleneck, Jinhou spent 10 months building the new production facility with investment of 150 million yuan ($18.3 million).
Jinhou has a reputation for very strict quality control and advanced product development. As a result of this, its travelling bag and case has won the first prize in a national competition for three consecutive years from 2001 to 2004. The company now makes functional bags for Dell, Samsung, NEC and Haier, including notebook computer bags, digital camera bags, and travelling bags.
