Elizabeth Bartlett, the founder, believes that "style shouldn't hurt and comfort doesn't have to be ugly". The collection targets busy women (in their 20s to 50s) on the go who demand fashion forward, elegant and eye-catching shoes that feel comfortable. It includes over 25 contemporary and classic styles handcrafted in
The shoes incorporate a comfort technology that makes the heel height feel lower, the company says. This is reportedly achieved by shifting the weight back to the heel and reducing the pressure from the ball of the foot. Use of impact absorbing, moisture resistant materials and special padding also encourage better overall comfort and fit, according to Elizabeth Bertlett.
The core team of this Seattle-based women's shoe company is supported by European-influenced design and development experts, including an Italy-based designer who has bolstered the line.
