British company Welwyn Tool Co. Ltd has been contracted, under a two-year rolling agreement, to supply Rolls Royce Motor Cars Limited with Leister hot-air tools, to be used in the production process of the luxury automobiles’ leather-covered interior components and trim.

The Leister Electron hot air blower will be used to heated blow air in order to activate the water-based adhesive that is applied to the leather surfaces. This process shrinks out any light wrinkles during the finishing process, whilst giving the material the correct lustre and feel demanded in such high-end cars.
