Arnold Palmer Footwear debuts new styles at PGA Show
Timing Group, the maker of his Arnold Palmer Footwear, is introducing several new style lines at the PGA Merchandise Show including the Competition, Birkdale, Legends Golf, Bay Hill by Arnold Palmer, Parasol and Arnold Palmer Touring collections.
The Competition range is a collection of modern athletic golf footwear with a high-tech pleated comfort sole. Birkdale has a more progressive, contemporary style and features a new spikeless sole with Lateral Slide Control construction. It also incorporates Outlast Adaptive Comfort technology for insoles with advanced climate control.
Legend is aimed at the serious golf aficionado. These shoes sport the finest leathers anchored on a new sole construction. They include the Champ Stinger cleat and also have Outlast insoles and full leather lining.
Bay Hill is the newest edition to the Arnold Palmer range of footwear, this collection features high-tech cleatless soles. They come with a 2-year waterproof warranty.
“Based on the great response we had last year, we are introducing an extensive line of new golf shoe styles for the coming season,” said David Slaughter, president of Timing Group. “We have also made rather significant strides in the area of dress and casual shoes under the Arnold Palmer umbrella, so you are going to see a lot more from us in the way of off-course shoes as well.”
Timing Group is also introducing the first of its ladies footwear under the Parasol label. These will be available in spring 2005.
