Following five years of losses, it seems that Italian luxury goods company, Prada, is all set to oust Austrian designer Helmut Lang from the chain that bears his own name, following in the footsteps of high profile designer Jil Sander, who left Prada in 2004.

It is believed that the company will announce the move in the coming days and that Prada’s chairman Patrizio Bertelli will take over the reins at the company which was acquired by Prada in 1999.
