Richina Pacific wins New Zealand China trade award

Singapore-based Richina Pacific has won the inaugural New Zealend China Trade association (NZCTA) Supreme Award.

 

Judges were said to be impressed by Richina’s ecologically- and globally-aware approach to the production of finished leather for the garment, upholstery and footwear sectors. They also commented on Richina’s achievement at becoming the first foreign listed company in China following the recent acquisition of Shanghai Leather.

 

“This has been a remarkable year for Richina Pacific, embarking on a number of projects that have resulted in a strengthening of our representation in China. We are delighted to have been recognised by the New Zealand China Trade Association,” said CEO of Richina Pacific, Richard Yan.

 

The award was presented by New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Helen Clark, and the winner will also receive prizes worth $23,000.
