91% of 2004 exhibitors re-confirm booking at APLF-MMT 2005

Over 91% of 2004 exhibitors have re-confirmed their attendance at the Asia Pacific Leather Fair – Materials, Manufacturing and Technology (APLF-MMT) event running April 6-9, 2005 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. More than 32 pavilions from 19 countries and regions including Brazil, China, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the United

 

Kingdom and the USA have already confirmed their participation at the show.

A brand new education programme called “APLF Forum - Manufacturing Technology Enhancement” will be held during the fair. The aim of the programme is to provide manufacturers with information on the latest technological advances in order to improve their productivity and efficiency. Some of the topics to be covered are technical innovations in materials/chemicals and dyes, anti-counterfeiting, shipping and logistics, supply chain management and CAD/CAM.
