Poland’s largest leather garment manufacturer to expand

Ochnik, Poland’s biggest leather garment manufacturer is planning further expansion. The company has already launched its first four stores in Poland and a further five in neighbouring Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. During the first quarter of 2005 two more shops will be established with three more in autumn. Five to six stores are planned to be added each year.

 

Ochnik has also increased its sales. The company’s gross revenue in the first half of 2004 rose by 20%, compared to the same period last year whilst its yearly sales amount to PLN20 million ($6.25 million).

 

Ochnik was established in 1989 by three brothers and today employs around 200 people. The company is committed to using the highest quality leathers from Italy and Spain and supplies Polish and foreign brands including Pierre Cardin, Vistula, Mustang and Big Star.
