New invention designed to make people belt up
A US-based company has come up with an ingenious idea to try to make people wear their seatbelts….a leather pouch. It may not sound like the innovation of the century, but Novi-based Bucklebabies believes that its product has an important role to play.
The leather pouch which slides over the seatbelt has a transparent pocket in which photographs or papers can be inserted. This means that photographs of loved ones can be inserted and in the words of Bucklebabies: “you can feel your loved ones close to your heart.” This may not seem so important to everyone, but he pouch does have more serious and important uses. It is suggested that medical information can be inserted into the pouch, such as if a child is autistic and unable to speak, or if someone has allergies etc, which could be vital information in case of an accident.
