Gerber Technology makes new appointments
Gerber Technology - that develops and manufactures software and hardware automation systems for sewn products and flexible materials – has appointed four new faces in key positions in the company’s product management and global marketing departments.
Hal Osthus has moved internally to take up the position of executve director of product management, overseeing the development of Gerber’s hardware, software and service products. He joined the company in 1984 and most recently worked in the role of director CAD/CAM/CMS marketing services. He holds several US and foreign patents on mechanical and software innovations.
Todd Rhodes has been appointed as director of hardware systems product management. Prior to this role he was director of product management at sister company Gerber Coburn. He will now oversee four of Gerber Technology’s hardware based product lines: multi-ply cutters, spreaders, single-ply cutters, and plotters and peripherals.
