Lord John’s Footwear announces record sales
Lord John’s Footwear, a New York-based retailer of fashionable footwear for men and women, particularly in the higher end of the market, has announced a 300% online sales increase in October 2004, compared to the same month of 2003, and a 400% increase in November 2004, over the same period of 2003.
“It’s amazing to watch the orders come in a few minutes after we launch an unannounced sale,” says Mike Kyriannin, owner of Lord John’s Footwear. “While we have consistent sales numbers daily, there is approximately a 30% increase in traffic when we run an online special – a special that has no prior fanfare.”
Lord John’s Footwear also offers mainstream brands including Ecco, Merrell, Dansko, Cole Haan, Birkenstock and Teva. The company is forecasting a significant increase in profits for 2004 over the year 2003.
