Footwear most popular exhibit at ACLE, CIFF and Moda Shanghai
Following what organisers have called the resounding success of the three main shows held in
Fashion footwear accounted for 42% of the exhibition space, with garments taking 30% and leather goods 11%. Buyers’ fields of interest were similarly matched in terms of footwear, but there appeared to have been more buyers interested in leather goods such as bags and wallets than there were looking for apparel.
The three shows attracted 20% higher visitor numbers in 2004, compared with the previous year. 14, 980 trade visitors from 78 countries attended the events of whom - according to statistics – 80% were CEOs or managers, and 10% were chemists or engineers.
