Dystar agrees Rotta Group acquisition

German producer of chemical auxiliaries for the global textile, leather and paper industries Dystar, announced on Friday (November 19) that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rotta Group. The agreement is expected to be finalised within the next 45 days.

 

Rotta, based in Germany, manufactures pretreatment chemicals, dyeing auxiliaries and products for resin finishing, coating, the treatment of wool and garment finishing. It also markets auxiliaries used in the paper industry and leather finishes for automotive trims, furniture and shoes. Rotta has over 1,300 customers in 80 countries worldwide and production facilities in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, China and Brazil.
