Lacrosse reports strong sales
The company reported net sales of $34.5 million for the period, an increase of 15% from $29.9 million in 2003. For the first three quarters of the year Lacrosse reported net sales of $76.8 million, up 12% on the figures for 2003.
The company improved sales in both its occupational and recreational divisions. Occupational sales rose to $15.8 million for the quarter and $45.0 million for the first three quarters of 2004, up from $11.6 million and $37.4 million respectively for the same periods in 2003.
Occupational sales saw growth in all areas, but the results were also boosted by the ongoing contract between Lacrosse and the American Government Services Administration for military boots – contributing $2.8 million to sales for the third quarter and $7.5 million for the first nine months, with a further $2.2 million expected to be dispatched by the end of the fiscal year.
