Poland’s European Fashion Academy second year in operation

Poland has a new institution designed to train experts for the clothing industry. The European Fashion Academy, established last year under the patronage of the magazine Polska Moda and its on-line counterpart moda.com.pl, is based in Łódź, a city with a long textile tradition.

 

In its first year of existence the academy has formally trained over 100 individuals wishing to pursue a career in the clothing industry both in small companies and big plants. The institution prides itself in employing industry specialists with extensive textile and teaching experience.

 

The academy offers a choice of courses from styling and computer assisted clothing production to the construction and modelling of light and heavy clothing.
