Austrian car component supplier expects a drop in turnover
The Austrian component supplier of leather for car seats, Boxmark, is expecting a 6 – 7% drop in turnover in its business this year due to economic recession and rising competition.

In 2003 the Chinese market accounted for about €14 million of all automotive leather sales and they are reportedly on the increase in the current year.
Boxmark supplies leather for seats in the VW Cayenne and Touareg, as well as Nissan Bluebird-Limousine among other models. The company is also a supplier of 65% of the leather equipment of Porsche.
