ECCO introduces new golf shoe range
ECCO has announced the introduction of its Spring/Summer range of casual golf shoes that features 10 models for men in 27 colour combinations and eight models for women in 29 colour combinations. The collection features three new styles for both men (Casual Sneaker GTX, Sport Accelerator,
Also of note is the return of the popular World Class and Spikeless E series of shoes. Introduced last autumn, the World Class Saddle GTX and World Class City GTX for men have a retail price of $400 and, ECCO says, combine a keen attention to fashion with the technological breakthroughs that have distinguished ECCO for more than 40 years.
“Acceptance of and demand for ECCO golf shoes was tremendous in 2004,” says Per Aagren, General Manager of ECCO’s golf division. “The Spring/Summer 2005 collection represents the further evolution of ECCO in golf. Our goal is to provide the most comfortable and technologically-advanced shoes while still maintaining the fashion-consciousness that helps set ECCO apart.”
ECCO’s men’s shoes are worn by the young PGA Tour star Aaron Baddeley, along with internationally renowned players Thomas Bjorn and Thongchai Jaidee. ECCO’s women’s collection can be seen on the feet of dozens of LPGA Tour players, including Rosie Jones and Hall of Famer Juli Inkster.
