Tanning-Tech - the world’s most prestigious tannery-machine technology and chemical products fair - is sending out good signals for the upcoming event that is to take place October 26-29 in Bologna, Italy.

248 companies will be exhibiting at the show, a slight increase on last year’s numbers, in a newly expanded exhibition area. The expansion includes the addition of two new pavilions which will house the chemical products sector.

Exhibitors from 21 countries will attend the event and although this number has decreased from 25 in 2003, the industry will be represented on a global scale. The countries attending will be: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Iran, Italy, Russia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, Uruguay, USA, and Vietnam.

Official delegates from China, Vietnam, Iran, Egypt, Former Soviet Republic of Central Asia, and Argentina will also attend as part of Italy’s ongoing initiative to improve links with these countries.
