Sixth Asian Technology Conference to be held in Japan

The sixth Asian Technology Conference is being held in Japan, October 18-22, attended by experts from China, Japan, and South Korea. Those attending will discuss new technological advances in leather and fur production, including new developments in leather materials and chemicals. Following the conference, participants will be invited to attend a presentation on the situation of the leather industry in five of Japan’s largest cities.

 

The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has confirmed that the organisation’s Deputy Director, Madame Zhang Shu Hua will head the Chinese delegation, and that she has accepted the role of vice chairperson of the conference. Following the conference Madame Zhang will spend a few days visiting the Japan Leather Technology Association, the Japan Leather Federation and other leather-related associations. She will also meet with representatives of the Japanese leather industry to discuss improving cooperation between the two countries.
