Leather and fashion line of LVMH most profitable
French luxury goods group LVMH wants to focus its efforts on its most profitable brand Louis Vuitton. The leather and fashion line of Louis Vuitton business accounts for 60% of the group’s operational profits and has an operational margin of 45%.
“The idea is to focus on the brands with the biggest potential,” says Antonio Belloni, managing director of LVMH. Part of this strategy is expected to include the selling off of some brands. However, no timeframe has yet been set.
