Bulleys closes down

One of Kenya’s most well-known tanneries, Bulleys of Thika, is reported to have closed down as a result of financial difficulties within the company. Once part of the famous Booth Group empire, Bulleys was built in 1944/45 using labour provided by Italian prisoners of war.
