Vietnam’s footwear exports in September were up by 15% against last year, reaching $250 million, according to the country’s Ministry of Trade.

The figure brings total export turnover for the sector to $2 billion this year, an increase of $200 million on the same period last year. The Ministry predicted that footwear exports in October may yield $250-270 million.

Whilst the USA, EU and Japan remain major importing markets, African markets have also been accessed in recent months.
