Cattle producers across the USA lose an estimated $1 billion to Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), according to the National Institute for Animal Agriculture.

Research conducted by Intervet Inc. reaffirms that prevention is key in reducing losses from BRD caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.

Findings showed Intervet's avirulent live vaccine, called Once PMH, significantly reduced illness and respiratory morbidity and lowered the average cost of treatment for respiratory disease by more than $3 per calf.
