Leading British rider Jeanette Brakewell has visited Pittards’ leather factory to say thank you to the people who helped her to win a silver medal with the British eventing team in Athens.

Pittards designed special technical leathers especially for her and her horse. A highly technical, water-resistant saddle was developed to provide lightness and comfort for the horse and perfect grip for the rider. Pittards also developed special leather for her riding boots and gloves. 

The rider claimed that having such innovative equipment helped give her the edge over other riders. As for her horse Over to You, his track record speaks volumes for the equipment as he is now one of the most decorated horses in Britain.
