The sixteenth Latin American Congress of Leather Chemists and Technicians will take place in Buenos Aires on 6 - 8 October. The organiser, Argentinean Association of Chemists and Technicians of the Leather Industry (AAQTIC) holds the presidency of the Latin American Federation of Chemists and Technicians of the Leather Industry (F.L.A.Q.T.I.C.). 

 

Some 350 professionals are expected to participate to discuss a number of projects and exchange knowledge and experience. Latin America produces and processes more than 35% of world’s bovine hides. Its technicians are seen as the key in the industry’s development.
