Punjab police arrests leather thieves

Five members of a leather thief gang have been arrested by the Punjab police in Pakistan.

 

The police have seized leather and leather goods worth PRs 50 million (over $800,000) stolen from the Pasrur’s rural district. Among confiscated items were tens of thousands of leather jackets, a number of leather sewing machines, a pickup and illicit weapons.

 

The men have allegedly been involved in 15 other crime cases.
