Turkish fashion and leather fair opened in Ukraine

Kursad Tuzmen, Turkish Minister of State, has opened a fashion and leather fair showcasing products from over 100 Turkish companies in Ukraine. Mr Tuzmen stated Turkey’s wish to sign a free trade agreement with Ukraine and other eastern European countries.

 

Turkey has already boosted trade in recent years, with exports  in the textile and leather industry rising 65 % in 2003, and exports to eastern European countries alone rising by 38% in the same period.
