Tay Do Leather wins approval to export python sloughs

Tay Do Leather has been given the go-ahead to export treated python sloughs by the Vietnamese government’s wildlife agency (CITES).

 

As the only company with permission to export such sloughs to Europe,Tay Do are in an enviable position, as demand outstrips supply.

 

According to the company it exports approximately 6,000 metres of sloughs a month, whilst demand stands at 30,000 metres a month. As a result prices for sloughs have also risen.
