CBR reduces duty drawback

The Central Board of Revenue under Pakistani Ministry of Finance has
reduced duty drawback on export of leather, synthetic footwear and
canvas/textile footwear from 17 August 2004.
The CBR has amended standard SRO 413(I)/2001 through SRO (I)/2001.

The duty drawback has been reduced on the export of:

·        canvas or textile shoes with rubber sole (all varieties and sizes) from 5% to 3.81% of  the fob value,

·        leather footwear including chappals and sandals with leather
upper and leather sole (all varieties and sizes) from 3.96% to 3.70% of the fob value,

·        leather footwear including chappals, sandals and slippers with leather upper and PU or PVC or rubber or TPR sole (all varieties and sizes) from 6% to 4.84% of the fob value,

·        synthetic footwear including chappals, sandals and slippers with synthetic upper (artificial leather) and PU, or PVC or rubber or TPR, or PVC or rubber sole (all varieties and sizes) from 3.92% to 3.36% of the fob value

·        PVC injections moulded footwear (all varieties and
sizes) from 0.53% to 0.48% of the fob value.
