The 12th XinJi leather exhibition, sponsored by China Light Industry Association, Hebei provincial government and China Leather Industry Association, is to be held in Xinji, Hebei province during September 22-24.

Xinji is the largest hide & leather production area in China. Its technology takes the lead in the country on leather & fur garment and the tanning of sheepskins. According to recent China Leather Industry Association statistics, Xinji has over 1,000 enterprises producing hide, leather and leather goods and produces 5.3 million leather garments, over 15 million leather goods and 33 million pieces of hide annually.
