David L. Rogers, who has served as president and chief operating officer of Wilsons The Leather Experts since April 1992, has handed in his resignation after nearly 25 years with the company. He will, however, continue as a director of the Minneapolis-based leather apparel retailer.

Wilsons Leather is an international specialty retailer of leather outerwear, sportswear and accessories. As of May 2003, Wilsons Leather operated 612 stores located in 45 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.
