The news, announced by APLF (Asia Pacific Leather Fair Ltd) some weeks ago, has gained considerable interest of trade associations and individual manufacturers of footwear, leather goods and leather garments, and orders are already being taken.
The event manager, Khamsay Luangpraseuth confirms, "We are already allocating spaces to groups and companies from Belgium, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Turkey, UK - and enquiries are rolling in from Eastern Europe, Indonesia, Italy, North Africa, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand, to name a few!"
The fair, presenting the Autumn/Winter 2005/06 collections in its first edition, is designed to create a trading platform at the heart of the world's biggest single consumer goods market. It is scheduled at the peak of the buying season and is expected to have a truly cosmopolitan character. It will showcase the latest offerings in leather goods, small leather accessories, bags, travel goods and leather garments.
