All China Leather Fair fully booked

29/07/2004

The organisers of the All China Leather Exhibition series have put up the ‘fully booked’ signs in its exhibition halls a full two months ahead of the 2004 edition, which opens September 1.

In a statement issued today, organisers Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) Ltd and China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) reported many established exhibitors had also expanded their booths, with a 20% increase being seen in floorspace compared with 2003. Some 600 exhibiting companies from 30 countries/regions will participate in the fair, among them 58 companies from 18 countries and regions that are new to the show.

A new development this September will be an upholstery leather section, reflecting the rapid growth currently being seen in the sector, especially in China. A series of technology seminars will also be held during the fair.  Topics will include "Differentiate Your Leather Products to Increase Sales" by SATRA Technology Centre; "Du Pont Telfon Leather Protector - Creating a Carefree Future" by DuPont China Holding Co., Ltd; and "Spanish Tanners in China" by the Spanish tanners association ACEXPIEL.
