The organisers of mainstream footwear event Footwear UK have announced that they are launching a new high fashion shoe show. Scheduled for 26th to 28th September 2004, the show will be branded Footwear London and will take place at Olympia 2. 

DEW Events say they are positioning the biannual event as an end of season buying show for upmarket and wholesale fashion brands which remain committed to bringing their ranges to customers in the capital. “Footwear London will be an opportunity for buyers to sit down and finalise their ranges with agents and distributors from the best high fashion companies and we think that the timing and the location will appeal.”   

Confirmed exhibitors already include Kidderminster, Jacobson, Blu Shu, David Ellis, Trickers, Moda in Pelle and Scholl. With Footwear UK well-established in the buying diary after ten years, Footwear London will complement the earlier event and fulfil the industry’s expressed need for a late fixture, targeted specifically at the fashion end of the market and held in London.
