In early June, a conference was held in Shantou city, Guangdong Province, on the recent update made to the leather garment standard. Technicians and representatives from leather garment enterprises all over the country attended the meeting, according to a report carried on the website of China Leather Industry Information Center. The China Light Industry Federation had previously instructed the China Leather Industry Association and some key leather garment enterprises such as Kaiser Group to revise the standard.
