Quanzhou footwear inspections top 200.5 million pairs, January-March 2004

According to the statistics from Quanzhou city’s Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, 200.5 million pairs of shoes were inspected by the city’s Customs department during January-March 2004.

 

The bureau also said that the export value of footwear in Quanzhou accounted for 46.2% of the provinces total and 20% of the national figure. Footwear produced in the city is mainly exported to the US, Europe and the Middle East.
