The UK Leather & Hide Trades’ Benevolent Institution (LHTBI) has been chosen as the beneficiary of a sponsored walk that will be undertaken by the head of one of UK’s leading leathermakers next month.  John Pittard of Yeovil-based Pittards has advised that he will be taking part in the annual, 26 mile-long “Waendel Walk” on Sunday May 9, with all proceeds from his participation going to the LHTBI.  Potential sponsors are asked to email Mr Pittard on pittardsenquire@pittards.com
