SATRA appoints new executive director
Simmons, who is already head of SATRA’s safety product centre and joined the organisation in 1996, will take a key role in the centre’s strategic forward planning strategy which will run until 2010.
He will continue to work as the business manager for SATRA Quality Assurance Ltd and retain overall responsibility for all aspects of safety testing of apparel, footwear and equipment. The operation also covers the management of quality services, the chemical analytical laboratory and SATRA’s global test method services.
