US-based Coach, Inc. has today launched its third flagship Coach store in Japan. The 5,300 square foot outlet, which has been opened through Coach, Japan, Inc., is located in the Marunouchi section of Tokyo and covers two floors and features a limestone facade.

Ian Bickley, president and CEO of Coach Japan, said: “We expect that this store will enhance our brand awareness and positioning with the hip and fashionable Japanese customer and bring new consumers into the Coach franchise. Accelerating our flagship openings is a key part of our strategy to aggressively expand our market share in Japan.”

The company plans to open a further three major stores in Japan in 2005.
