GDS features Wenzhou footwear manufacturers

The Wenzhou Shoe and Leather Association has said that around 60 of the city’s footwear manufacturers attended the recent edition of the GDS footwear show, held March 11-14 2004 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
According to the association’s deputy, Mr Lin Jin You, a larger number of Wenzhou-based organisations are attending such events in order to build upon their international reputations and brand names.
The companies exhibited a total of 1,300 pairs in varying styles, covering a display area of 77 square metres.
