Finnish Fur Sales has said that prices were up 10-20% at its March auction – spurred by fierce competition among bidders. Sales were particularly strong for Blue Fox furs which completely sold out, as well as Scanglow, Scanbrown and Scanblack furs.

According to the Vantaa-headquartered company, around 350 buyers attended the sale, the majority were from Hong Kong, China and Russia while there were also representatives from Türkiye, Europe and the US.

The next auction will be held May 30-June 8 2004, selling days June 4-8.
